This species of cactus can be easily distinguished by columnar, thin scions that brush out at the base. On the surface of these stems, there is a huge number of areoles, so the cactus itself is densely covered with white-yellow spines.
Care:
Grow this plant in the warm season at an air temperature of 22 to 26 ℃. In winter, there is a dormant period. Therefore, cleistocactus should be placed in a fairly cool place (about 10-12 f℃).
